Light Streams Art Programmes Policies

                               Onsite 7-week Art Programmes - Both Children & Adults

Missed Classes:

No refunds, discounts on future registrations, or make-up classes will be offered for missed classes.*

Cancelled Classes:

Light Streams reserves the right to cancel classes at any point in time, for reasons that include but are not limited to: low enrollment, class conflict, instructor conflict and conflict arising from govenrnment rules & regulations during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Classes cancelled by Light Streams will be re-scheduled, issued a credit for a future class, or refunded at the discretion of Light Streams.

 

*Subject to the discretion of the Light Streams Office. Refund requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

                               Online 7-week Art Programmes - Both Children & Adults

Late Entrance to Class Policy:

Following the initial ‘Welcome’ email, Light Streams does not send out class reminder emails. As such, it is your responsibility to be prepared for class and enter the virtual room on time for your scheduled workshop. Light Streams is not responsible for late entry into a Zoom workshop. Refunds will not be issued for late entry.*

Lost Internet Connection (by the participant):

Light Streams is not responsible for lost internet connection caused by the participant. Refunds will not be issued for lost internet connection.*

Lost Internet Connection (by Light Streams):

If Light Streams loses the internet connection, the instructor will do everything possible to re-instate the Light Streams virtual class and resume the project. If the internet is disconnected longer than anticipated, the instructor will either send a review of the class to the participants, with photos and directions for finishing up OR will ask to spend additional time the following week to complete the project. Refunds will not be issued for lost internet connection.*

Pay As You Go sessions are subject to space availability only.

CONSENT TO USE PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO/AUDIO OF MINORS

​

From time to time, LIGHT STREAMS Art Centre staff will take photos or film activities/dialogues/performances at the academy where the minor can be identified. The capture of images or videos and their use in media such as website, magazine, bulletin board, information panels, exhibitions, graphic and digital documents, etc., will be for strictly educational, non-profit and information purposes. The student/father/mother/guardian can at any time refuse their participation by writing it contact@light-streams.com.

LIGHT STREAMS Art Centre asks the consent of parents or legal guardians to be able to take and / or publish images and videos in which they appear individually or in a group that can be carried out pedagogically for children in the different sequences and activities carried out in the academy.
